Our rigorous program is designed to address the growing need for reflective, creative critical-thinkers in an evolving 21st century. Our students are confident, collaborative, self-advocates with a life-long love of learning.

Admissions Process

At Ascend International School, the admissions process is thoughtfully designed to get to know each child and family on a personal level. For our youngest learners in the Pre-Primary Program (Half Day, KG1, and KG2), we aim to understand each child’s unique personality, learning style, and developmental needs while also helping families learn more about our school philosophy and community.

At Ascend, our admissions process is designed to be warm, personal, and efficient. We aim to truly understand each applicant and determine whether Ascend is the right fit for your child and family.
We want this journey to be welcoming and transparent, so here is a step-by-step guide to the admissions process for the Academic Year 2026–2027:

Step 1 – September 2025 – School Tours

One of the first steps in the process is attending a parent tour of Ascend. This visit allows families to experience our vibrant community first hand, observe classrooms in action, explore our specialist spaces, and meet members of our faculty and leadership team.

If you're located outside India, we’re happy to schedule a virtual introduction via Zoom (virtual Call).

Tour Dates: Released on the 26th of each month at 10 AM IST, with dates for the following month.

How to register: After completing the Inquiry Form at the bottom of the Admissions page, you will receive an email with the link to sign up for a school tour.
Note: Tours are for parents only; students will have their opportunity to visit later during their student-observation.

To provide each family with a meaningful experience, tours are by reservation only and space is limited.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tours begin promptly on-time and typically last 90 minutes, including a Q&A session.

Families who arrive late will need to reschedule for the next available date.

Step 2 - September to November – Application & Document Submission

After attending a parent tour, you’ll receive the online Admissions Application form and all necessary supporting documents for Academic Year 2026–2027 by email.

Once the Admissions Department has received your completed application and all supporting documents, families will be invited for a Parent/Guardian Interview.

Step 3 - September to November – Parent Interview

We invite parents to participate in a one-on-one interview with our faculty or leadership team.

Interview: This is an important opportunity to share more about your child, their interests, and their learning journey. This will be a 40–60 minute conversation with our faculty and leadership team.

Purpose: To get to know your family better and answer any questions you may have about Ascend’s philosophy, curriculum, or community.

Step 4 - December – Student Visit day

For Pre-Primary applicants (Half Day, KG1, KG2), the Student Visit Day is the final step in the admissions process.

  • Date: Saturday, 6th December 2025
  • Eligibility: Families who have submitted all documents and completed the parent interview will be invited.
  • Format: A group visit lasting about 90 minutes. Activities will include playful learning experiences, movement/dance, and a storybook read-aloud.
  • Attendance: Both parents are not required to attend the student visit.

Please note: This is the only Student Visit Day for the year. Attendance is essential.

Step 5 - December – Admission Decisions

Following the Student Visit Day, admission decisions for the Pre-Primary Program (Half Day, KG1 & KG2) for Academic Year 2026–2027, will be released by mid-December 2025.

At Ascend, we view admissions as the beginning of a long-term relationship with families.
We encourage you to take each step of the process as an opportunity to engage with our philosophy, explore our learning spaces, and envision your child’s journey with us.
