Admissions Process

At Orphira International School, the admissions process is thoughtfully designed to get to know each child and family on a personal level. For our young learners, we aim to understand each child’s unique personality, learning style, and developmental needs while also helping families learn more about our school’s  philosophy and community.

Our admissions process is designed to be warm, personal, and efficient. We aim to truly understand each applicant and determine whether Orphira is the right fit for your child and family.

We want this journey to be welcoming and transparent, so here is a step-by-step guide to the admissions process for the Academic Year 2026–2027:

Step 1: School Tour

One of the first steps in the process is attending a parent tour of Orphira. This visit allows families to experience our vibrant community first hand, observe classrooms in action, explore our specialist spaces, and meet members of our faculty and leadership team.

If you're located outside India, we’re happy to schedule a virtual introduction via Zoom (virtual Call).

Tour Dates: Released on the 26th of each month at 10 AM IST, with dates for the following month.

How to register: After completing the Inquiry Form at the bottom of the Admissions page, you will receive an email with the link to sign up for a school tour.
Note: Tours are for parents only; students will have their opportunity to visit later during their student-observation.

To provide each family with a meaningful experience, tours are by reservation only and space is limited.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours begin promptly on-time and typically last 90 minutes, including a Q&A session.

Families who arrive late will need to reschedule for the next available date.

Step 2: Application & Document Submission

After attending a parent tour, you’ll receive the online Admissions Application form and all necessary supporting documents for Academic Year 2026–2027 by email.

Once we have received your completed application and all supporting documents, students will be invited for a Student visit to our campus..

Step 3: Student Visit / Observation

This visit gives your child the opportunity to engage with our faculty and peers, explore classroom activities, and participate in age-appropriate assessments.

  • For Pre-Primary (Half Day, KG1, KG2): Group visit on December 6, 2025. This is our only Visit Day for the year.

  • For Grades 1–11: Visits are scheduled individually after application submission. These involve a full or partial school day (depending on the grade level), during which the student will interact with teachers, counselors, and students of their relevant grade level.

Step 4: Parent Interview

We invite parents to participate in a one-on-one interview with our faculty or leadership team. This is a valuable opportunity for us to understand your child through your perspective and for you to ask any final questions about our program.
Interview: This is an important time to share more about your child, their interests, and their learning journey. This will be a 40–60 minute conversation with our faculty and leadership team.

Purpose: To get to know your family better and answer any questions you may have about Orphira’s philosophy, curriculum, or community.

Step 5: Offer of Admission

Admissions decisions are typically shared by mid-December (for Pre Primary Years) or late January to February (for Grades 1–11). Selected families will receive a formal offer letter via email.

At Orphira, we view admissions as the beginning of a long-term relationship with families.
We encourage you to take each step of the process as an opportunity to engage with our philosophy, explore our learning spaces, and envision your child’s journey with us.
